2023 Fat Cat Boats DW-16

Fat Cat's DW-16 was designed by the famous race boat designer, "Doug Wright" for his son, to pole fish the Florida flats. The DW-16 is designed and engineered for "High" performance, utilizing smaller HP motors (60-90), with the shallows angler in mind for sight casting in waters along the gulf coast like the Laguna Madre. The DW-16's "Pad V" hull was designed to deliver better draft, excellent shallow water take-off, and smooth rides in choppy waters. Fat Cat designed the deck with a built-in console which creates a large walk around area with two live wells, rod holders, and storage compartments.

Every Fat Cat Boat is constructed from the highest quality composite materials. "NO WOOD CONSTRUCTION". The DW-16 is a two piece cap and hull construction and is hand laid with an acute attention to weight and balance during rigging. As with all our boats, the DW-16 is available in a variety of colors including custom designed metal flake paint and vinyl wraps. Our goal at Fat Cat Boats is to make each design custom and unique for each owner's enjoyment.
