2023 Fat Cat Boats HV-26

Fat Cat's HV-26 is designed for versatility and engineered for "High Velocity" performance perfect for the professional guide, tournament angler or weekend fisherman in both in-shore and near off-shore waters. Just as with the HV-24, the HV-26 is a high performance stepped, "Pad V" hull. Engineering pulled the transom back seven inches and added a key slot to the design. This created better draft, increased lateral stability, room for extra storage compartments, and improved shallow water take-off by decreasing dead rise. In addition, the key slot provides extra buoyancy to maximize performance for the increased weight of engines like Mercury's 400R. Pulling the transom further back allowed Fat Cat to install a shorter jack plate thereby reducing transom stress. Both of these changes resulted in increased fish-ability with added deck space and performance to accommodate extra fisherman in any situation.

The HV-26 is a two piece cap and hull construction and is hand laid with an acute attention to weight and balance during rigging. As with all our boats, the HV-26 is available in a variety of colors including custom designed metal flake paint and vinyl wraps.
